Dencia and Friends Tour Hit The Rocks!

With two of the three dates already cancelled by Thursday last week, the much talked about “Dencia and Friends Tour” was obviously not going to happen. Many fans who had been anticipating mingling with the pop star <strong>Dencia</strong> and her group of famous friends were suddenly found wanting.

Dencia hasn’t release any official statement as to why the tour didn’t go as scheduled but sources suspect it could have been logistics problems.

According to the plan, the tour was to kick off in the capital city of Yaounde on March 27, then move to the commercial capital, Douala the next day. Both cities saw no sign of the Tour Bus. By the time, Dencia was spotted in the last scheduled town in Bamenda on Friday; she was the only one standing with just Singers; Denzyl and Petit Champion by her side. There were no signs of the official hosts; Denrele Edun and Karen Igho as well as Cameroon’s makossa icon, Petit Pays.

Close sources claimed she had a spectacular performance in Bamenda while others maintained that half of the audiences were regular clients of the club.

Well, Dencia at the end of the day has made a mark in Cameroon’s showbiz world. Although she actually didn’t succeed with her dream tour, people still felt her presence in the country.
