Waje is also known as the messenger of love. With a voice that evokes emotions and heart rendering lyrics, she really is Cupid!

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Waje is a year older today, September 1, 2016!

The mother of one hit the limelight when her vocals were featured on Psquares smash hit Do Me in 2008. She has won several awards for her signature voice.

Described as having a vocal range covering three octaves, Waje can hit high notes, stretching them as long as you could hold your breath for.

A native of Edo state, she has since gone on to become one of the leading female songwriters and singers in the country.

The University of Nigeria graduate has since waxed stronger and has won several awards over the past couple of years including Best Female Vocalist NEA 2011, Headies 2011, Best Reggae/ Dance hall, Headies 2013 amongst others.

Asides all this, Waje also has a deep passion for gender equality and opportunity which seeks to empower African women. She joined the One.org to launch a worldwide campaign for gender equality. Even lending her voice to their theme song.
