Cardi B Says She's Never Getting Plastic Surgery Again After 'Scary' Side Effects

Cardi B has not had the best luck with her recent plastic surgeries.

Recently, Cardi (a.k.a., Belcalis Almanzar), has opened up about the scary side effects she's had to deal with following two different plastic surgeries, including intense swelling (Cardi even shared a photo of her super swollen feet and ankles after a flight).

Turns out, those side effects have changed Cardi's mind about those types of procedures, and Cardi has officially sworn off plastic surgery for good. "I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause b*tch I aint getting surgery again," she wrote on Twitter Thursday. But let me tell you I havent got a headache ever since.

Its not exactly clear when Cardi got surgery, although she reportedly had liposuction and breast augmentation. What we do know: Cardi had to cancel shows in May on her doctors orders.

She talked about the whole thing in an Instagram Live video that's been shared on YouTube (though it was recently removed), defending her decision to get plastic surgery. "I don't have the time of day like you do," she said. "Like, my job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So no, I dont have time to work out and I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, is not get fixed."

"Like my boobs, no matter how much I work out, they were not gonna lift themselves," she continued. "So yeah, I had to get f**king surgery."

Cardi said her doctor told her she had to take time off to allow her breasts to recover since her internal stitches from breast augmentation hadnt healed yet. I gotta get better, she said. The way that my body be swelling up when I catch planes and s-, its so scary that I be freaking out. Like I really be freaking out.

Just a few days ago, Cardi shared a photo on Instagram Stories that made it clear why shes freaking out. Look how swollen my feet get every time I take flights, Cardi wrote over a pic of her feet and legs. My stomach gets even more puffy. BTW: You can actually see imprints from her shoe straps in her skin from the swelling.

Also important: Botched star, plastic surgeon Terry Dubrow, MD , actually saw the photos of Cardi's swollen feet and voiced his own concerns: "The fact that her legs are still this swollen indicates that theres something more going on than were actually hearing about," he said in a segment for TMZ Live, adding that she needs to see a doctor ASAP.

Hopefully Cardi's workouts are a sign that shes finally feeling better and that she'll be back at 100 percent soon.
