Last moments of veteran actress in pictures

The sad news of the passing of veteran actress, Bukky Ajayi, 82, who won the Industry Merit award alongside with Sadiq Daba at the AMVCA hit the news today, July 6, 2016.

Ajayi who starred in some of our favourite Nigerian blockbuster movies and series, such as , among many others.

Since her award at the AMVCA 2015, Ajayi received industry visits from various division of Nollywood [yoruba, English] including, Joke Silva, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Toyin Aimaku, amongst others .

On June 15, 2016, Joke Silva, Uzor Osimkpa, Chika Chukwu, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Nichole Banna, Seun Ajayi and Zara Udofia Ejoh paid a visit to the veteran actress at her Surulere home.

During the 2015 AMVCA, Bukky Ajayi was surprised that she was given a standing ovation while she received her award.

This is the late veteran at an event in 2013.
