There's a shooting in Lekki and everybody on Twitter is panicking

Photos and videos posted on social network, Twitter, shows people running for their dear lives as unidentified gunmen are seen continuously shooting between Road 14 and the Ikoyi toll bridge.

There are reports and eye witness accounts stating that there is a shooting currently happening in Lekki area of Lagos State, today, March 12, 2015

The reason for the startling incident is not known. Sources on social media claim the gunmen are robbers dressed in army attire. Others claim the gunmen are robbing a bank in the area.

'Just saw a car with a bullethole in the windscreen by UBA #Lekki', a Twitter user @MsRoxy_ wrote on her timeline.

Gunshots have been heard as far back at entrance of Lekki Phase 1 which leads into Admiralty Way road.
