Actor is being investigated for child abuse following split

TMZ reported yesterday, September 21, 2016, that Brad Pitt is being investigated for child abuse following his split from Angelina Jolie.

After two years of marriage, Angelina Jolie has filed for a divorce from long-term partner, Brad Pitt.

Earlier this week, a source told Us magazine that an incident took place prompting Angelina to act and file for divorce.

The gossip site reported on Thursday, September 22, that the LAPD and L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services are looking into an incident where Pitt allegedly got verbally abusive and physical with the estranged couple's children.

Sources tell TMZ that on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, Pitt screamed and got physical while drunk with his family on a private jet. They claim someone reported the alleged incident and Pitt and Jolie have been interviewed. DCFS also plan to interview their children.
