A Weekend Of Tragedy- As The Nation Mourns

I am yet to awake from the shock of the tragic events that occurred over the weekend, did I think my first post this morning would be about a series of events this tragic? The petrol tanker fire on Lagos Ibadan express road, the bomb blast in Bauchi and over 153 lives lost after a Lagos bound Dana flight from Abuja crashed into a densely populated area in Iju Ishaga, Lagos, just a few minutes away from the airport. Many hopes lost, dreams shattered and hearts broken.

The nation has once again been thrown into mourning, we cannot do or say much at this moment but even as the President has declared three days of mourning, we at pulse.ng implore all you well-meaning Nigerians, those who lost loved ones, properties and those who suffered the shock, to please take time out today to pray for the departed souls and the nation in general. May God grant them eternal rest and give all those affected the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
