Sailors Lounge turns 7: The best hangout spot and restaurant in Lekki, Lagos

Sailors Lounge is and has always been the best hangout spot in lekki phase 1, Lagos. And their just concluded 7 Years anniversary celebration was just another way to establish their dominance and class in the hospitality industry in Lagos, Nigeria.

Saturday, 11th of May, 2018, Sailors Lounge clocked 7 years and the anniversary celebration was breathtaking. From the Seafood, to the Champaign, then to the Liveband, the DJ and finally the Fireworks, Sailors Lounge practically shut down Lekki phase 1 on Saturday. All roads leading to the venue was crowded with cars, trying to find their way in.

At about 5pm, invited guests had started arriving in their luxurious cars to grace the event. Some of the guests took pictures on the red carpet. The beautiful looking waitresses were ready to welcome them in the warmest ways.

From the entrance of the lounge, with the alluring decorations, you could tell it was going to be a fun filled and amazing event and it sure did not disappoint.

The Cool Ice Band started serenading the crowd about 6pm, there was a lot of food and drinks to go round and entertainment was at its peak.

The cake cutting started around 8pm and the invited guests took pictures. It’s a long standing tradition at the lounge, where the Captain, Eyitayo Fakehinde uses a samurai sword to cut the cake, while customers and staffs surround him to take pictures.

Finally, the highlight of the 7th Anniversary was the fireworks, which lasted for about 30 mins. During this time, there was a standstill in Lekki, with people parking on the bridge to have a glimpse of the Fireworks.
