Nigerian On-Air personality Moet Abebe has lamented about the things young ladies go through while house hunting in Lagos.

The popular media girl took to her Instagram page, where she shared some of the damning things single ladies are put through just to get an apartment in Lagos.

"Renting a place in Lagos as a single working lady is so complicated. Wtf does my marital status have to do with anything? Why must I have a man stand for me like I'm a second-class citizen?" she wrote.

She went on to blast landlords and landladies for the way they treat single ladies when it comes to their properties.

"I have had it up to her with the patriarchy and discrimination," she lamented.

The OAP wondered why a lady's marital status rather than her occupation and ability to pay the stipulated rent isn't used as the criteria for renting an apartment.

Abebe also revealed that being a famous female celebrity hasn't helped issues with securing an apartment.

According to her, landlords believe most of these female celebrities are sponsored by 'Sugar Daddies.'

On a good note, the OAP revealed that she would soon join the landlords association of Lagos.
