After a 4-0 loss in the first friendly between both sides in Kansas City, the Super Falcons would control their opponents better in the rematch.

The second friendly was played in front of a packed crowd at the Audi Field in Washington D.C.

The Super Falcons put up a valiant effort as Uchenna Kanu erased an own goal by Tosin Demehin.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Adviser Austin Eguavoen took to social media to give his thoughts on the Super Falcons defeat.

Eguavoen celebrated the Super Falcons performance despite the loss to the World Champions.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will return to action when they take on the Nadeshiko of Japan in a friendly fixture scheduled for Thursday, October 6 at the Misaki Park Stadium.
