Over the past four days, Cassie Ventura has delivered compelling testimony in Sean "Diddy" Combs's federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial in New York. Her detailed accounts have provided the jury with a vivid portrayal of an alleged pattern of coercion, abuse, and control spanning over a decade.

Cassie described her 10-year relationship with Combs as marked by manipulation and exploitation.

Coercion and Blackmail

She testified that Combs orchestrated sexual events termed "freak-offs", where she was compelled to engage in sexual acts with male escorts under his direction. These encounters were allegedly filmed, and Cassie claimed that Combs used the recordings to blackmail her, threatening to release them if she attempted to leave the relationship.

During her testimony, she told the jury she “couldn’t do many of the things I wanted to" during her on-again, off-again relationship with Diddy.

Pertaining to the freak-offs, she stated,  “I had a whole other job, basically a sex worker.”

She alleged that Combs enjoyed watching her have sex with other men and she was forced to perform degrading acts with male escorts, adding that the experiences left her feeling “nervousness and confusion.”

Control

“He controlled a lot of my life,”  Cassie told jurors on day two of Combs' federal sex crimes trial on Tuesday, May 13, in Manhattan federal court.

Among the claims presented to the jury, Cassie also accused the music mogul of forcing an escort to urinate in her mouth during one of his notorious "freak-off" parties.

Cassie's lawyer, Tybell Johnson, described the incident in detail, stating that she "felt like she was choking" during the act allegedly orchestrated by Combs. Johnson claimed the incident exemplifies the degradation and control Cassie allegedly endured while in a relationship with the rapper.

Physical Abuse

According to Cassie’s former best friend Kerry Morgan’s testimony, she once witnessed Diddy allegedly use a hammer to try to break into Cassie’s apartment after the infamous assault at the hotel.

She also recounted instances of physical abuse, including the now-viral  2016 incident in a Los Angeles hotel where surveillance footage showed Combs kicking, punching, and dragging her after she tried to escape. This video has been admitted as evidence in the trial and shown.

Diddy could face up to life in prison if he is convicted on all counts.
