Child of kidnapped Poland sailor cries out

The man by the name Karol Tomczak, simply identified his father as Roman.

 

Son to one of the captives in the Polish cargo ship "Szafir", which was in the early hours of today, Friday, Nov. 27, hijacked by Nigerian pirates has contacted Pulse, seeking information on his father's whereabouts.

The man, by the name Karol Tomczak, simply identified his father as Roman.

"Hello! My name is Karol Tomczak. My father was taken by pirates in Nigeria - Poland ship Szafir. His name is Roman – first Oficer", he wrote in an email sent to us.

However, our reporters are working to verify Tomczak's claim.

The polish M had confirmed to Pulse in a separate email that five Polish sailors and 16 people were on board the cargo ship.
