Ex-President remains father of corruption – House of Reps

According to the House Committee Chairman on Media and Public Affairs, OBJ has made attacking the National Assembly his hobby.

The House issued this statement in response to Obasanjo’s comment saying that allocating funds for constituency project is a form of corruption.

According to the House Committee Chairman on Media and Public Affairs, Abdulrazak Namdas, the former President has made attacking the National Assembly his hobby.

Namdas also told newsmen that the National Assembly will not take time to respond to the former President’s comments again.

He said “We won’t respond to any corruption allegations by Obasanjo against us anymore.

“We have replied him enough and our position remains what we said earlier. It has not changed.

“I refer you to our comprehensive position on Obasanjo in 2016. That is still our position.”

Governor Ayo Fayose has consistently described former president Olusegun Obasanjo as the grandfather of corruption in Nigeria.
