Would you use your counter top cleaner for your teeth? OK, your expressions are almost visible. What if we told you it was possible as well as totally safe?

There are multitasking products called Castile Soaps that allows you do just that. These organic, oil-based soaps have been around for centuries, cleaning everything from your teeth to your countertops.

Here are ten ways to put Castile soaps to work.

Toothpaste: Add one drop (of a peppermint scented formula, like Acure’s Peppermint) to your toothbrush. Brush away.

Breath freshener: Combine two drops of a peppermint formula with three tablespoons of water and keep in a spray bottle to mist in your mouth for a quick midday refresh.

Mouthwash: Add one drop to a small cup of water, then swish, gargle, and rinse.

Shampoo: Mix one tablespoon of Castile soap with one tablespoon coconut milk and massage into hair. Then rinse.

Face wash (and makeup remover): Add three drops of Castile soap to the palm of your hand and gently massage on the face with warm water. Watch makeup and grime from the day melt away.

Shaving: Apply several drops to wet hands and work up a lather. Then apply to desired area before shaving.

Clear congestion: Add one drop of Castile soap to a bowl of steaming water and breathe in.

Laundry: Pour a half cup of Castile soap over a large load and add a half cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle. Clean clothes, zero toxins.

All purpose cleaner: For everything from your counter top to your yoga mat. Add one cup white vinegar and 1/3 cup Castile soap to a gallon of water. Pour in a spray bottle for surface cleaning or dump into a large bucket to mop the floor.

Dish soap: Create a solution of one part Castile soap and ten parts water, then squirt on a sponge or scrub brush and wash away.
