Oscar award winning actress plans on releasing a book for kids

The Kenyan born Academy award-winning actress took to her Instagram page on Thursday, January 18, 2018, where she announced her latest achievement.
"I am pleased to reveal that I have written a children's book! It's called "Sulwe"! Sulwe is a dark-skinned girl who goes on a starry-eyed adventure and awakens with a reimagined sense of beauty. She encounters lessons that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning. This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as an inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in their own skin. Coming January 2019!!," she wrote.

Well, this is just another feather in the already amazing cap to Lupita's blossoming career. Lupita has had an amazing acting career in Hollywood since she starred the movie "12 Years A Slave" which earned an Oscar award.
We can take your minds back to when the beautiful actress called out movie producer, Harvey Weinstein for sexually assaulting her some years ago. While granting an interview with New York Times in October 2017, she revealed how he assaulted her back in 2011.
We cant also forget when Lupita called out "Grazia Magazine" for cropping out her hair on their magazine. Lupita called it an unconscious prejudice against black women, saying that she should have been consulted before taking off her natural hair from the cover.
