As Partizan's lead grew, whistles from the Pionir Hall stands became more frequent. The discontent culminated just before the players headed to the locker room, with chants of "Management out!" echoing through the arena.

However, some of the frustration was also directed at coach Saša Obradović for his decision to bench captain Ognjen Dobrić at a moment when the Zvezda guard had found his rhythm.

Dobrić had just scored points and then committed a foul on Carlik Jones, after which Obradović decided to substitute him, sending Nikola Kalinić onto the court. This decision sparked a furious reaction from the stands. Initially, sporadic whistles were heard, followed by the entire hall loudly chanting: "Ognjen Dobrić, Ognjen Dobrić."

Shortly after, the crowd added: "Forget the money, forget the cash, Dobrić-Davidovac."

Under pressure from the atmosphere in the arena, Obradović quickly brought Dobrić back onto the court, but this did not change the mood of the crowd, who continued to express significant dissatisfaction with their team's performance and the result.
