The club's management shares that ambition, having assembled a squad capable of contending for the most coveted trophies.

On the EuroLeague and 6.75 podcast, the Serbian coach commented on the workings of the European transfer market.

"There should be more order in these transfers. My experience from previous seasons has been that clubs and players start discussing reinforcements in the middle of the season. That's not good, and the EuroLeague needs to address it. Order needs to be established, which is only logical. There's room for improvement and to make things better." - Željko Obradović

How Panathinaikos will perform in the upcoming season remains to be seen.

The "Greens" play their first EuroLeague match on Thursday, September 24th, hosting Paris at the OAKA Arena.

"Your joke, not mine!"

Luka Mihajlović and Bogdan Milenković spoke with Željko Obradović about Partizan and the famous summer when an incredible number of people followed the legend of Serbian basketball upon his return after resigning from Athens.

"That was one of the most professionally challenging moments I've ever experienced. That airport, it was so emotional... I went home afterwards and just stared at the ceiling for what felt like an eternity. Such intense emotion. My emotion, I don't need to repeat everything Partizan means to me. I'm someone who sticks to my principles; I believe I'm someone whose word means something. I know there was talk that people took my words out of context when I said: 'Either I'll coach here, or I won't.' They had the mandate to offer me a contract here. I don't need to explain; those who understood the reasons why I left, understood. Those who didn't, probably never will. I'm here at a club where they had the mandate to offer me a three-year coaching contract."

The hosts, with a smile, remarked that "they have a new one now," alluding to Ostoja Mijailović receiving the confidence to remain at the helm of Partizan.

"- Your joke, not mine," Željko replied.
