This is the best island in the Caribbean

When it comes to holiday destinations, the Caribbean often pops up on many a must-visit list.

Between the white beaches, water-based activities and sheer luxury of island living, it's no wonder many a Caribbean island continues to attract millions of tourists each year.

Business Insider recently did a ranking of the Caribbean islands and Puerto Rico nabbed the number 1 spot owing to its affordable hotel rates and low beach density.

Factors such as number of attractions  and  amount of coastline offered per square kilometer were also considered in arriving at the ratings.
