The exorbitant ticket prices for this World Cup have been a long-standing issue, but for the final, they have reached truly extreme levels. The figures being discussed are not only astronomical but also outrageous for many fans, including the Spanish Football Federation itself, as reported by "Marca."
World Cup matches are broadcast live on bnt.sportal.bg. The platform streams all 104 games from the 2026 World Cup schedule in real-time.
On FIFA's official ticket resale platform (from which the organization receives a 15% commission), exclusive tickets even appeared for up to two million euros, though it was never confirmed if they were sold. What is certainly known, however, is the current price of the cheapest ticket.
"This is something that should not be allowed. There are many Spanish fans from the middle and lower classes who make huge efforts to be here," commented Rafael Louzan, president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
According to SeatPick, the cheapest ticket to watch the trophy match costs 4,451 euros – an utterly unaffordable sum for any ordinary supporter. The most expensive ticket currently on offer is for 188,803 euros – a price accessible to very few ahead of the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey next Sunday.
"The cheapest ticket for the grand final is around $4,000. Prices are like airline tickets – they are dynamic and constantly fluctuate. It's truly a shame. This is something that should not be allowed. There are many Spanish fans from the middle and lower classes who make huge efforts to be here. And when you add the cost of tickets, flights, and hotels, which are no less than 800 euros..." Louzan added.
These sums are far removed from the prices FIFA initially set for this World Cup, according to "L'Équipe." The French publication states that the global football governing body had established four price categories for the tournament: $11,000, $5,500, $3,600, and $800. However, as the competition progressed, prices sharply increased, peaking just before the grand final.
