God is your source

It is necessary for men to speak on your behalf where you are unable to do so, because you cannot be everywhere at the same time.

Judah spoke to deliver Joseph from the pit, Reuben spoke up to deliver him from death; he ended up in prison because there was nobody to speak up for him. Queen Vashti’s crime was not so grave as to result in her dethronement, but Memucan spoke against her and there was no one to speak in her favour.

Saul had a genuine encounter with God, but the apostles did not believe the encounter to be real until Barnabas stepped up and stuck out his neck for him. There are certain places you may be finding it difficult to enter probably due to your size or experience, but God raises men to speak on your behalf at such times.In Exodus 32:1-13, God was upset at their idolatry and meant to wipe out the people of Israel; but Moses spoke up for them and averted God’s judgment. Moses was even offered the opportunity to be the start of a new generation of God’s people, if God had gone ahead with the judgment. However, he stood in the gap for the Israelites instead; that is the same way men will speak for you above their immediate personal benefits.
