Born on April 19, 1988, Simi is a singer and songwriter. She started her singing career as a gospel artist.  Her career came into the spotlight in 2014 after she released "Tiff", a song which was nominated in two categories at The Headies 2015 and further brought her to mainstream recognition.

The Mass Communication graduate from Covenant University recently released her debut album, "Simisola" which has been well received to the point where it debuted at number 5 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Simi has been romantically linked to the singer, Adekunle Gold, an allegation she has neither confirmed nor denied. Simi is a huge fan of Manchester United and loves to play scrabble on her phone.
