Singer is 11th best performing artist on iTunes/Spotify global artist ranking

The Nigerian pop star's collaboration joint with Drake ‘One dance’  influences his position as the hit song sits pretty at number one on the US, Nigerian and worldwide  iTunes chart and also number one on USA and worldwide Spotify charts.

The singer sits just below an American DJ duo,  TheChainsmokers who are at number 10 position on the chart. Drake, Rihanna and Beyonce make up number one, two and three top spots respectively. Other artists making the top 10 global iTunes/Spotify ranking include Adele, Justin Bieber, Sia, Coldplay, Mike Posner,Calvin Harris and the late singer Prince.

His album “Ayo” makes the number 10 spot on iTunes Nigeria album list. ‘Ojuelegba’  on the other hand is at number 67 on the iTunes Nigeria singles list.

The Starboy's 'One dance' with Drake and Kyla  is currently number two on Billboard Hot 100 charts, and it's been gathered according to DJ Maphorisa, a co-producer of the 'One dance' song that there are more collaborations, at least three in the works for Wizkid and Drake.

Also according to an interview with Nigerian renowned producer Sarz, Wizkid has also been confirmed to collaborate with R&B artist Chris Brown and Nigerian-American rapper Jidenna.
