Develop a good rapport with the seller. The chances of a seller giving you the product at a lower price is higher if he considers you close to being a friend.
Inspect the product closely. If it is a used product, chances are, it might have a physical defect, either a crack or a dent somewhere. You can use that as a negotiation tool.
Another tool is , using the “not interested” tactic, works. You make the seller feel you are not so enthusiastic about making the purchase, and just trying to see if you are making a good deal.
