Mohamed Salah is set to depart Liverpool at the end of the season. The Egyptian winger has etched his name into the club's history, shattering numerous Premier League records and clinching the title twice with the Merseyside giants. His exit leaves a significant void, prompting the crucial question: who will step into his boots?

Discussions about the champions' future have already begun. Filling Salah's shoes will be an immense challenge for any player, and the financial commitment Liverpool is prepared to make remains a key factor.

Reports suggest that Michael Olise is their primary target. However, Bayern Munich appears highly unlikely to sell him this summer. Should they consider it, they would demand an exorbitant fee, likely deterring any potential suitors.

Beyond Olise, the options circulating are limited. One name is Jarrod Bowen, a player Jürgen Klopp has praised on occasion. But that was then, and this is now; the West Ham captain is nearing 30. The Hammers' Premier League status will also play a role in any potential move.

Another candidate is RB Leipzig's Jan Diomande. Liverpool enjoys an excellent relationship with the German club, having previously acquired Naby Keïta, Ibrahima Konaté, and Dominik Szoboszlai from them.

Finally, two more names are being floated, primarily playing on the left wing. It's highly probable Liverpool will also sign a player for that position, as Luis Díaz's absence was never truly covered. These are Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint-Germain and Anthony Gordon of Newcastle. Both can operate on the right, but predominantly play on the inverted wing to cut inside and shoot.
