It's clear that a major reshuffle of top drivers among the leading teams is being postponed indefinitely. But who are the drivers whose contracts expire at the end of the current season? Some of these drivers will need to put in a serious effort to earn a new deal.

Leading the pack is current world championship leader Andrea Kimi Antonelli, though his new contract is largely a formality and is expected to be announced very soon, likely with a significant pay raise.

Red Bull's injured second driver, Isack Hadjar, is contracted until the end of the season, but he is also expected to retain his seat.

Further down the grid, things get more interesting. Both Racing Bulls drivers, Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson, are under contract until the end of 2026. Formula 2 championship leader Nikola Tsolov is also a contender for a full-time spot with the team.

Fernando Alonso's contract runs until the end of 2026, but negotiations for an extension have already begun. Both Haas drivers, Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon, are contracted for this season, though the Frenchman's chances of keeping his seat are not particularly high.
