Even before the derby, it was clear this game held no significant weight for Partizan's standings, but for Zvezda, it was arguably the match of the season. Before this game, they were in the race for a playoff spot. Now, even a play-in position is in question.

Crvena zvezda played a very poor game, crumbling under pressure yet again. Following losses to Maccabi and Bayern, they dropped another match that, on paper, they should have won.

The team's leaders and key players completely underperformed, a criticism that can be particularly leveled at Chima Moneke, who has been known for his very interesting and ambitious statements throughout the season.

Moneke's single shot attempt in the entire game

Moneke has been the red-and-whites' best player all season based on the Performance Index Rating, averaging over 14 points and nearly seven rebounds per game, but he vanished when it mattered most. Whether the problem was with him or the game plan is a question for Saša Obradović.

Zvezda's power forward played almost 25 minutes in the Arena but was a non-factor. With just eight points, only two rebounds, poor defense, and countless allowed offensive rebounds for the opponent, Moneke was completely invisible on the court tonight in Belgrade.

The other leaders weren't much better. Codi Miller-McIntyre only started to find his rhythm when the game was already decided. Jered Butler had his second consecutive poor performance, and it seems opponents have figured him out, making it harder for him to score. Even Kalinić's 1-for-8 shooting, as the most experienced member of the team, speaks volumes.

However, if one player has to be singled out for the worst performance, it's Chima Moneke. Just like against Barcelona, he was a non-entity, as Crvena zvezda slowly slides down the EuroLeague table.

For someone who proclaimed a Final Four appearance in Athens and a title run, it's time to start delivering consistently on the court. If there's any time left for that at all.
