According to the newspaper Aftenposten, none of the injuries were related to the mass rowing imitation that became a characteristic celebration of Norwegian fans during the championship.

The NTB agency reported that up to 135,000 spectators watched the quarter-final match on large screens in central Oslo. England advanced to the semi-finals with a 2-1 victory after extra time.
