The offer was for €40 million, potentially rising to €46 million with add-ons. However, the Hammers are holding firm, insisting they will not sell the Dutch international for less than his €50 million release clause, which expires in two days. According to Matteo Moretto, Roma will now decide whether to improve their offer or withdraw their interest in the 24-year-old, who is also a target for Aston Villa. The transfer expert added that Summerville has already agreed personal terms with the Giallorossi.
