French superstar Victor Wembanyama believes he has what it takes to score 100 points in an NBA game.
The San Antonio Spurs center gave a positive response when asked if he thought he was capable of hitting the century mark in a single game. "I think so, yes," Wembanyama told Rookicks.
In the entire history of the NBA, only Wilt Chamberlain has scored 100 points in a game. He set the record for most points scored in a single game back in 1962.
For a long time, Kobe Bryant came closest to this feat, scoring 81 points in 2006 to record the second-best individual performance. However, last season, he was surpassed by Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo's 83-point outburst.
Victor Wembanyama's career-high in points currently stands at 50, achieved in a game against the Washington Wizards in 2024.
