Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic received high praise from Caitlin Clark, currently the most popular female basketball player on the planet. The American star stated she considers the Serbian the best in the world – and he responded in his own unique style.

American basketball star Caitlin Clark recently revealed her favorite player to watch is Nikola Jokic, whom she considers the best in the world.

Jokic's response, however, once again showed why he's earned the nickname "The Joker."

"We have the same agent. That's why she said it," the Denver Nuggets center quipped in his characteristic style, a smile finally breaking through at the end.

Indeed, both Jokic and Clark are represented by Excel Sports Management, an agency founded by prominent NBA agent Jeff Schwartz, though they also have their individual representatives.

As a reminder, Clark appeared on an NBC television broadcast live from Oklahoma City on Sunday, prior to the Thunder-Knicks game.

While previewing the second game of the evening, between Denver and Golden State, she showered Jokic with praise:

"I mean, there's not many people that average a triple-double. You're lucky if you get a couple of those in a season. He does it all year long, and he's done it two years in a row. It's just incredible, and honestly, he's probably my favorite player to watch. I think he's the best basketball player in the world."

Jokic delivered another incredible performance that same evening, recording 25 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists in a victory over Golden State.
