Upfront and Personal becomes Wande Coal's booking, PR and management company.

The ‘Baby hello’ singer and his former management Bankulli Entertainment parted ways due to irreconcilable differences and failure to reach compromise on a number of issues.

According to a source close to both parties, “Wande Coal and Bankulli have been having issues for a while now largely due to attitude problems from Wande, but now they’ve finally parted ways when all efforts to resolve the matter amicably failed.”

Wande parted ways with the Don Jazzy led Mavin records in July 2013, and he immediately floated his own record label called ‘Black Diamond’ and he pitched his tent with Bankulli Entertainment as his management company. Before Bankulli began to manage Wande Coal, he was previously managed by Nana Abbey who had been his manager since his days in Mo’hits records, and NET investigations also reveals that he parted ways with Nana amidst controversial circumstances.

“Wande Coal had initially gone to have a meeting with Bankulli about 5 months before he left Mavin about 5 months earlier and he already had his exit strategy from Mavin well planned, but he just doesn’t take things too serious.” a source told NET on the condition of anonymity.

Bankulli was A&R manager at Mo’Hits before he became D’banj’s manager in 2012, following the controversial Mo’hits breakup and also parted ways with the kokomaster in early 2013.

Wande was also known to have parted ways with another manger Sunday Are who acted in the capacity of a manager to the Mo’ Hits team (which comprised of D’banj, Don Jazzy, Wande Coal, Dr. Sid, D’ Prince and Kay Switch) since 2005 before the label was disbanded in 2012.

The Paul Okoye led agency, Upfront and Personal is home to other music stars and known for attracting mega licensing and endorsement deals for some of the biggest music talents in Nigeria including Wizkid, Davido, Seyi Shay, and Cobhams Asuquo to name a few.
