Beyond his sharp anticipation for steals, tireless energy, and relentless defensive commitment, Luca Vildoza caught the attention of fans with a unique detail on his gear. The Argentine guard wears a small piece of tape over his ear which, as he revealed a few years ago to Greek outlet Gazzetta, helps him battle severe migraines.

The tape serves to cover a specialized therapeutic piercing aimed at relieving migraines. The earring stimulates a specific acupuncture point and nerve endings within the ear cartilage to reduce pain, while Vildoza covers it with protective tape during games for safety reasons.

"I suffer from migraines, and they often affect my vision. I hope to overcome this issue using this method." - Luca Vildoza

In the aforementioned interview with Gazzetta, Vildoza also emphasized that he took this step with the support of his partner, adding that he possesses complete medical documentation and clearance, ensuring full compliance with all relevant sports regulations.
