Verstappen: Second Place is an Incredible Result

“Considering our race pace, second place is a fantastic result,” Verstappen stated. “Lando had some bad luck with the Virtual Safety Car, so for us, this is an incredible finish. You saw him catching me, but it’s impossible to overtake here, so I managed to keep him behind.”

“How did I keep him behind? Well, I drove in the middle of the track. That works well here, and you just try to maintain grip in the tires, which was the hardest part in the final stint of laps.”
