Following Friday practice at the United States Grand Prix, Max Verstappen admitted that the notorious bumps at the Circuit of the Americas are making it difficult to dial in the optimal setup for the Texan track.

According to the four-time world champion, finding the sweet spot is challenging regardless, as the Austin venue demands compromises between low-speed agility and high-speed stability. While Red Bull worked toward that balance, Verstappen conceded that the team still has ground to cover ahead of qualifying and the race.
"It's never easy at this track to find a good compromise with the car's setup between the low-speed and high-speed corners. The bumps around the circuit make that task even tougher. We tried to find a good rhythm and get the balance right. That was our main focus between FP1 and FP2. We still have some work to do on the setup, but overall it wasn't a bad start to the weekend," Verstappen explained.
