The election continues in new season 5 trailer

The fourth season of the popular undefinedended with a cliffhanger  - a tied election.

Set to return in April, HBO has released a new trailer of the upcoming season five, featuring hackers, a financial crisis, Hugh Laurie as Selina Meyer's second in command, and John Slattery.

The Emmy-nominated series stars Emmy winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, a former Vice President, who became president after her predecessor stepped down.

Before her rise to the office of Vice President and later President of the United States, she was  the former Maryland Senator. She often felt powerless, disregarded and discontented in her position as second in command.

Louis-Dreyfus has won four Primetime Emmy Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and four Golden Globe nominations.

The HBO series premieres on April 24, the same night with the much anticipated season of "Game of Thrones."
