Unseen on Broadcast: Fierce Brawl Between Red Star Fans and Gendarmerie Inside the Arena /VIDEO/

You can follow the match between Crvena zvezda and Partizan live on Sportal.

A video has surfaced on social media, filmed in the corridors of the Belgrade Arena, showing the beginning of a massive brawl involving Red Star fans and members of the gendarmerie.

The "Delije" (Red Star ultras) and police faced off, preparing for a confrontation. Fans removed their shirts, tying them over their heads, and took off their belts to use as weapons. The clash became inevitable when flares were lit in the hallway.

At that point, fans and gendarmerie charged at each other, initiating a widespread fight where, in addition to punches and kicks, batons and the aforementioned belts were used. Anything they could get their hands on was also turned into a makeshift weapon.

Although fans have not yet arrived in large numbers outside the Belgrade Arena, footage from the scene shows gendarmerie already present and slowly taking up their positions.

You can follow all the action from our largest arena live on Arena Premium 1, as well as through Sportal's live blog.

The game will be officiated by Spaniard Carlos Peruga, Frenchman Mehdi Difalla, and Lithuanian Gytis Vilius. All three have previously refereed games involving Belgrade teams this season.

This match holds significantly greater competitive importance for Red Star, who are still fighting for a playoff spot, while Partizan has already lost all chances, even for the play-in tournament.
