It's been a long time since a regional basketball league member suffered such an embarrassing defeat.

Vienna missed their ABA League clash with Dubai due to a postponement of the first round, but in their Austrian basketball championship opener, they endured an unbelievable 122-37 loss to Traiskirchen.

Not a single first-team player was in Vienna's lineup; all of them sat out the game, leading the Austrian ABA League representative to field its junior squad.

Traiskirchen thus ended the first quarter with a commanding 36-2 lead, effectively sealing the game early. By halftime, Traiskirchen was up 65-9, with Vienna's best offensive quarter coming in the final period, where they managed to score 18 points.

The standout player for Vienna was Lukas Cvetkova, born in 2007. He's a first-team member who rarely sees action with the senior squad.
