Real Madrid's management has reportedly shifted its stance on acquiring Manchester City midfielder Rodri. According to numerous sources, a deal is becoming increasingly likely, especially as the player himself is keen to join the Royal Club.

The "Whites" are not expected to face difficulties in agreeing to personal terms with Rodri. The 30-year-old midfielder is reportedly willing to make financial concessions to facilitate the transfer.

Manchester City will not stand in the way of one of their key players. The "Citizens" are grateful to Rodri for his contributions to the team's successes in recent years and would respect his desire to return to his home country.

Real Madrid has yet to submit a concrete offer. Until recently, it was believed that Spanish giants' president Florentino Pérez was against signing Rodri, but the situation has now changed, and obstacles to the deal are reportedly disappearing one by one.

Last season, Rodri featured in 33 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals. His current contract with the English club runs until the summer of 2027.

The captain of the world champion Spain is a product of Atlético Madrid's youth academy and also played in La Liga for Villarreal.
