Head Coach of the Dream Team VI, Samson Siasia, has made another achievement as the Nigerian team has defeated Algeria at the final of the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Senegal.

While the team's skipper, Azubuike Okechukwu, returned to the starting line-up for Nigeria, Nigerian forward, Oghenekaro Etebo left Nigerians at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium cheering as he scored two goals.

However, Nigerian defender Segun Oduduwa, nodded the ball into his net to help Algeria get a goal in the first half.

Striker, Victor Osimhen, was handed a starting role, following his impressive performance in his last outing but he was unable to place any ball in the net.

The Siasia-led team has emerged the first Nigerian side to win the championship after defeating Algeria in Dakar.
