British heavyweight boxing sensation Tyson Fury is reportedly planning a ring return on August 1st in Dublin, Ireland, just a week after Anthony Joshua's comeback fight, according to DPA.

Joshua is set to face Albanian Christian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25th. This will be his first bout since a tragic car accident in Nigeria claimed the lives of two of his trainers.

Both British heavyweights are using these upcoming fights to prepare for their highly anticipated clash, slated for November. Fury himself posted a video on Instagram showing the former world champion training in Thailand, accompanied by the caption: "Heading for August 1st in Dublin, Ireland."

Promoter Frank Warren is staging a fight between Pierce O'Leary and Mark Chamberlain at the 3Arena in the Irish capital on the same date, and Fury is expected to be featured on the card. His opponent, however, remains unannounced, though Warren has dismissed the possibility of it being Andy Ruiz, who famously dethroned Anthony Joshua in 2019 before losing the rematch later that year.

Tyson Fury made his return to the ring in April after a 16-month hiatus, securing a victory against Russian Arslanbek Makhmudov, and subsequently challenged Joshua.
