Former Turkish basketball standout Ibrahim Kutluay weighed in on the issues plaguing Panathinaikos following back-to-back defeats against Anadolu Efes and Aris.

Kutluay placed particular emphasis on the chemistry between Nigel Hayes-Davis and Kendrick Nunn, who often share the court together.

"For Panathinaikos, how Nigel and Nunn co-exist on the floor is extremely important. Based on certain body language, facial expressions, and reactions, you get the impression that there is a certain issue between them." - Ibrahim Kutluay

Although the sample size this season remains relatively small—Kendrick Nunn has featured in just three of nine games due to injury setbacks—advanced metrics reveal a stark contrast between their individual and shared impact.

According to BasketNews data, Hayes-Davis holds a +4.4 net rating, while Nunn sits at -3.8 in EuroLeague play this season. However, when both share the floor, the team's net rating plummets dramatically to -22.1.

Naturally, the sample size is still limited and the pair are clearly searching for their rhythm together, but it is obvious that Zeljko Obradovic must quickly find a way to fit them together and turn them into the lethal tandem they are expected to be.
