Turkey vs. Serbia (Tip-off at 8 PM CET)
Match Preview
In a rematch of last year's EuroBasket final, the Serbian national team defeated Lithuania in the quarterfinals with a dominant 101:79 victory. Stevan Mijović's squad will now face host nation Turkey for a spot in the final.
The 'Young Eagles' (Orlići) had a shaky start to the championship, suffering a significant loss to Australia. However, they quickly regrouped and have been on a relentless winning streak ever since.
They closed out the group stage with convincing wins against Venezuela and Ivory Coast, setting the stage for their impressive knockout run. Serbia then overcame New Zealand in the Round of 16, followed by their quarterfinal triumph over Lithuania.
Should they emerge victorious, they would likely face the Americans in the final, who are set to play Australia in the other semifinal. It was Australia who defeated Serbia in the group stage, sending them to the other side of the bracket, but Serbia has since emphatically demonstrated the strength of their roster.
