This coming Sunday, Ilia Topuria will attempt to unify his lightweight title against interim champion Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC White House. Topuria is considered a significant favorite by oddsmakers heading into the bout, with most analysts expecting him to dispatch Gaethje quickly. Despite public opinion, however, Tsarukyan is convinced that Gaethje should not be counted out, and he has now backed that belief with a massive wager.

On Sunday, during a Kick stream with "Deen The Great," Tsarukyan placed a $1 million bet on Gaethje to defeat Topuria.

"I want Ilia," Tsarukyan stated before making the bet. "But Gaethje, man... Every time Gaethje fought, everyone thought he would lose, but he always won. Even in his last fight.""

The Armenian fighter's initial intention was to bet $50,000, but he was subsequently persuaded to significantly increase the amount. After placing the wager, he quickly became excited by the prospect of a huge payout.

"Man, Gaethje, please," Tsarukyan pleaded. "Just knock him out, and the next day I'm going to get myself a plane. A down payment for a plane.""

"We need to buy him a nice watch," Tsarukyan added, referring to Gaethje.

However, the excitement was short-lived. Shortly after the euphoria of placing the bet subsided, Tsarukyan realized he might not win. After joking that his father would call him as soon as he saw the news, the fighter grasped the magnitude of his wager.

"It's not easy to make $1 million," Tsarukyan admitted. "It was easy to click."

The UFC White House event is scheduled to take place on June 14th in Washington, D.C.
