Trendon Watford to Continue Career with New Orleans Pelicans

Power forward Trendon Watford is set to join the New Orleans Pelicans, ESPN reports.

The 25-year-old basketball player will sign a one-year deal with the Pelicans worth $2.9 million.

Last season, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers, averaging 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. His performance against the Toronto Raptors in November was particularly impressive, where he recorded a triple-double with 20 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists.

In addition to Philadelphia, Watford has also played for the Brooklyn Nets and Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association.
