Transfer Bombshell? Czech Media Openly Discuss Martin Dúbravka's Potential Move

Slovakian international goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka is reportedly among the top candidates for a potential reinforcement in goal for Prague's Slavia, according to Czech outlets Denník Sport and iSport. The 37-year-old goalkeeper's contract with English club Burnley is valid until the end of the current season.

Should Jindřich Staněk move on this summer, the door could open for Dúbravka's arrival. "He's expressed a desire to play in the Bundesliga. Nothing concrete is on the table, but it's possible he'll leave Slavia this summer. He's in his prime goalkeeping years," David Zíka, the agent for the 29-year-old Czech goalkeeper, recently told Livesport Daily.

When Staněk was injured, 24-year-old Jakub Markovič seized his chance. Nevertheless, according to iSport, Slavia is still addressing their goalkeeping situation and won't stand in Staněk's way if an attractive offer from a top league comes in. Dúbravka, a former goalkeeper for Slavia's biggest rivals Sparta, could therefore be an experienced alternative to the young Markovič.
