Tottenham Targets Sebastian Kehl for Director Role

Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly eyeing Sebastian Kehl for a director role, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg. The plan is for Kehl to work alongside sporting director Johan Lange, with the duo tasked with building a competitive squad under the leadership of Roberto De Zerbi.

Kehl took on the sporting director position at Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, holding the role until last month. Prior to that, he held another management position at the club where he spent 13 years as a player.

Plettenberg suggests that the former German international has not yet decided whether he wants to return to work immediately or take a break from the game. Tottenham's management is also not rushing the appointment, as their immediate priority is to ensure the team retains its top-flight status.
