Tottenham Hotspur has, barring any last-minute surprises, found their new manager, with Roberto De Zerbi set to replace Igor Tudor, who departed after just seven matches. The Italian was the clear frontrunner from the outset to take charge of the North London club, and an agreement between the two parties is now reportedly finalized.
De Zerbi's contract with Tottenham is expected to span five years. The 46-year-old faces a challenging task at the Spurs, who currently sit 17th in the Premier League, just one point above the relegation zone.
Tottenham will be the seventh club in the Italian coach's career. He previously managed Marseille, a role he left two months ago. Prior to that, De Zerbi has had stints with Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Brighton.
