The Toronto Raptors unleashed an astonishing 31-0 run spanning the first and early second quarters!

This marks the longest unanswered scoring streak by a single team ever recorded in the modern era of NBA statistics, which dates back to the 1997-98 season.

The previous record was set by Dallas against Oklahoma City in December 2023, with a 30-0 run.

Orlando, meanwhile, suffered its heaviest defeat since the franchise's inception.

"From the start of the game, I felt the guys had a lot of determination. They really wanted to get on the court and compete. Everyone was focused, they knew the game plan, they communicated with each other on the court, and they applied excellent ball pressure which led to steals, allowing us to run fast breaks and score." - Darko Rajaković, Toronto Raptors Head Coach

The Raptors' incredible run began midway through the first quarter.

After Paolo Banchero scored to give the visitors a 20-14 lead, Orlando seemed to completely vanish, committing 12 turnovers in 17 possessions. The Raptors seized complete control, turning the score around to 45-20.

The Magic's next points also came from Banchero, but not until the third minute of the second quarter.

The Raptors achieved this remarkable feat despite Brandon Ingram missing his second game out of the last four, with Colin Murray Boyles and Immanuel Quickley already sidelined.

Scottie Barnes led the charge with 23 points and an impressive 15 assists, while RJ Barrett contributed 24 points.
