Tony Parker Thwarts Partizan's Plans, Lures Patty Mills with Friendship Card: ASVEL Snags Another Black-and-Whites Target

For weeks, the arrival of veteran wizard Patty Mills at Partizan seemed a done deal. Then, in early July, a cold shower hit everyone at Humska. The brilliant point guard changed his ticket from Belgrade to Villeurbanne, heading to ASVEL to join his great friend Tony Parker.

ASVEL has once again snatched a potential Partizan signing, this time Patty Mills, following the earlier acquisition of Armoni Brooks. According to Telesport, a portal close to KK Partizan, the decisive factor was the friendship between Tony Parker and the brilliant Australian guard. Unofficial reports from "Mozzart Sport" indicate that Partizan was prepared to meet all of Mills' demands, including a two-year contract despite him approaching 39. However, even that wasn't enough, and Parker and Mills will now reunite, albeit in different roles, with Parker coaching his former teammate.

Partizan continues its search for reinforcements. So far, Nikola Tanasković and Kyle Allman have joined the team, while Tonye Jekiri's contract has been extended. The club is also in talks with Kevarrius Hayes and Derrick Williams, and negotiations are ongoing with fan favorite Zach LeDay. Sterling Brown, Nick Calathes, Dwayne Washington, and Dylan Osetkowski have already departed, with Isaac Bonga and Bruno Fernando also expected to leave.
