Todorović's Powerful Words Ahead of UFC Belgrade: Wrapped in the Serbian Flag for a New Victory

The Belgrade native stated that the arrival of the biggest promotion in Serbia didn't surprise him, as it had been speculated for a long time, but he is very much looking forward to it.
- It's been anticipated and discussed for a while, so it wasn't a huge surprise. I'm certainly happy about it; we have an established MMA system here, and the Federation itself has a long history, with several successful European and World competitions under the IMMAF umbrella hosted in our country. Based on those results, we stand shoulder to shoulder with Paris and London, which, coincidentally, are the only two cities where the UFC has previously held events - Todorović began, adding that he expects a great atmosphere in the Arena: - Serbia is generally known for its passionate support, so I don't believe the fans will disappoint. I hope the energy will be insane, the atmosphere fantastic, and of course, people will come from all over Europe.
The fighter from "Thunder Top Team" has previously competed in front of a home crowd, but he emphasizes that this is a whole new level.
- It's not my first time fighting in front of a home crowd, but this is a new level. There's no bigger stage than this, and with the home crowd, it's every fighter's childhood dream come true - he said, also revealing how he plans to enter the arena in Belgrade: - "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC will be my entrance song, and if they allow it, which I believe they will, I'll walk out with our flag. I hope the crowd will rally behind me and cheer for that entrance, and then for the victory.
Todorović has had ten UFC fights to date, with a record of four wins and six losses. In his last octagon appearance in mid-September last year, he defeated Jose Medina, breaking a three-fight losing streak.
- For now, I don't have any details about who I'll be fighting. Several names are being circulated, but nothing is confirmed yet. I can say that whoever they offer me, I will give my maximum to prepare and secure a victory. Every fight is the biggest, but this one definitely carries a special weight. I can't say there will be pressure on me, but there will be an added sense of responsibility to prepare for this match as best as I can.
Todorović believes that Aleksandar Rakić, Uroš Medić, and he are true ambassadors of MMA and effectively represent their clubs and their country.
- It's a great responsibility because we are all ambassadors for the sport and our country. It's important to represent ourselves, our club, and our country in the best possible way on the biggest stage. I'm glad that Aca and Uroš are good representatives of MMA, and I can say that none of us have brought shame upon ourselves or our country - Todorović concluded.
